Hamachi, the Japanese Amberjack or Yellowtail is native to the northwest Pacific Ocean from Korea to Hawaii. It is greatly appreciated in Japan, where it is called Hamachi or Buri. These fish are eaten either cooked or raw. Hamachi is typically thought of as a winter delicacy due to the meat having higher fat contents. Although it is frequently listed on menus as "yellowtail tuna", it is a fish of an entirely different family. Hamachi is particularly high in Vitamins A + D, protein, calcium and omega 3 and low in calories.

Popular Dishes:

Hamachi Sashimi

Hamachi Teriyaki with Yozu Kosho

Sesame Crusted Hamachi

Package eight: 0.95LB +/-5%

WARNING - Might contain fish bones, users please be advised
